Mac of Choice: 2009 iMac 24" 2.93MHz 4GB

Cons: keyboard, disk noise through external speaker jack

I had this computer running in a couple of hours. I used the migration assistant to pick up my profiles from my G4 Sawtooth. It was very stable right away. Coming from a G4, the performance increased capabilities were quite noticeable; plus, beautiful screen! I also noticed that my DSL performance got much better without any change to my DSL service or equipment. It's just been a pleasure to use.

The only complaint is a disk drive spinning-up whine that is quite loud through my speakers or headphones connected to the external audio jack.

Love the iMac and its ease of use. Was disappointed that the keyboard was the smaller version without the keypad.

Pros: build quality, design, Easy to Use/Setup, Fast/High Speed, features, quiet, Screen Display, value for money, one piece unit(plus keyboard)

This is my third I-Mac and it seems to be a little faster than the previous. So far it has been very stable. I have upgraded to Snow Leopard but don't see much difference in behavior over Leopard. I am treating it as an upgrade rather than a new operating system. I hope the internal changes will be a stepping stone to major changes in future operating systems. I have sold my two previous I-Macs to friends and they are very happy with their purchases. Selling used equipment to friends can be problematical!!
