Signal strength is so poor on this device that every frequency is overwhelmed or at least interfered by static no matter where I tested it (city, country, etc). Completely useless, will return.

I've had basically the same problem with every FM trasmitter I've tried. You can't drive very far without having to search for a new station. Mountains and trees cause a lot of interference. Looking to instead just upgrade my stereo system now so I'll just have a cable to plug into my iPod.

Mac of Choice: Air
Cons: unreliable

When it manages to find an open frequency, the transmitter works as advertised. But mountains confuse it, and the "one push of a button" often becomes 20 pushes with no results.
